Biogeographic distribution

A. veratra is found along the south eastern coast of Australia from Western Australia to Queensland (Fautin et al., 2008; Edmands & Fautin, 1991). A. veratra is  also found throughout the coasts of New Zealand (Edmands & Fautin, 1991).
